The Miami Dolphins did not sign free agent tight end Dustin Keller on Thursday. Keller, 28, is considered the top free agent on the market but is having trouble finding a contract to his liking.
In Miami the hangup is believed to be the Dolphins reluctance to offer a multi-year deal.
Keller is coming off an injury riddled season that saw him catch just 28 passes. In 2011 Keller set career highs with 65 receptions, 815 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The longer Keller waits the lower the offers will become.
