The Jacksonville Jaguars have unveiled a new logo that the team will use during the 2013 football season.
Team owner Shad Khan spoke of “The rebirth of the Jacksonville Jaguars” and “Forging a new identity.”
“It symbolically speaks to the passion,” Khan continued. “…It was time to have a new logo … we wanted to find the right look that is faithful to the past … but also bring unmistakably a new energy to the Jaguars.”
Whether the move is to push new merchandise or a hope to put his stamp on the team this is likely one of the few times that the Jaguars will be talked about heavily this season. The team has won a combined seven games over the last two seasons.
Thus far many Jaguar fans have voiced displeasure over the new logo filling the teams Facebook page with negative comments.
