Dallas Cowboys add former Tennessee Vols coach to staff

The Dallas Cowboys have added another recognizable name to next seasons staff.  Derek Dooley, who was fired at Tennessee in November after posting the longest run of consecutive losing seasons, will join the Cowboys as wide receivers coach.

Dooley went 15-21 in his three seasons with the Volunteers. He was on the same team as Cowboys coach Jason Garrett in 2005-06 with the Miami Dolphins -Garrett acted as the quarterbacks coach while Dooley coached tight ends.

The Cowboys reported the move on their website on Saturday night. Dooley will be replacing Jimmy Robinson – who may stay with the team in some other capacity.
