The Vikings will hope from more of the same from Peterson this week. Last week he came up just short of setting the NFL record for rushing yards in a season when he finished with 199 yards rushing. Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder had a big game against the Packers defense as well completing a key pass to start the Vikings final drive.

Before the Vikings closed the season with four straight wins they lost a game to Green Bay, in Lambeau. That will be the site of Saturday’s game. Green Bay will hope the return of corner Charles Woodson will help a defense which gave up three touchdown passes to Ponder last week.

Receiver Jordy Nelson is also expected to play after missing last weeks game, so too is fellow receiver and return man Randal Cobb. They should prove to be worthy targets for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
