The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins will play each other on Sunday night for the NFC East title. NBC will carry the game which will have playoff implications.

It is safe to say that the rivalry between the Cowboys and Redskins is back.

What is the point spread in the Cowboys and Redskins game? The Redskins are 3.5 point favorites against the Cowboys. The over/under for this game is 48.5 total points.

Avg Points Allowed 24.8 24.7

Road Record 4-3 5-3

Dallas has turned it on in the second half of games lately but that was their undoing against Washington on Thanksgiving. The Redskins currently are playing as good as any team outside of Denver.

The Cowboys must win this game in order to make the playoffs. With a injury plagued defense including Demarcus Ware the Cowboys could be in for a long night. Last week the Cowboys saw their three game win streak snapped and will go on the road to FedEx Field this week.

A six game win streak has the Redskins in position to claim their first NFC East crown since 1999. The Redskins could clinch a playoff berth before they take the field if Chicago and Minnesota lose earlier Sunday, but would still have the division title at stake. If both of those results don’t happen, the loser of this game is out.

Robert Griffin III has helped the Redskins though the air and on the ground but so has fellow rookie Alfred Morris who needs 87 yards to top 1,500.
