Joey Porter has been arrested for writing bad checks. Police picked Porter up on a warrant after a routine traffic stop on Friday reports the Bakersfield California.
Porter, 35, retired form the NFL in July. Porter spent eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and later played with the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Department’s website says Porter is not expected to be released until Wednesday. Porter made over $30 million during his time in the NFL.
