Pete Carroll not apologizing for second half throws

Even with a huge second half lead the Seattle Seahawks threw the ball with backup Matt Flynn. The Cardinals were embarrassed by a 58-0 loss in Seattle while the Seahawks were unapologetic.

“Any of the throws we threw in the fourth quarter, Matt just needed to throw the ball around some,” Carroll said during his post-game press conference. “We did a little bit of everything. Quick game. A couple naked (bootlegs) to just get him out of the pocket just to give him a chance to get some time. Hopefully everyone understands that.”  said Carroll.

In the second half Seattle threw the ball seven times but they ran the ball 18 times.

After another awful performance at quarterback the Cardinals are unsure who will start next week. Ryan Lindley and John Skelton both have looked awful in the last two games.
