Jay Cutler, Shea McClellin ruled out for Monday’s game against 49ers

The Chicago Bears will have to rely on Jason Campbell if they are to defeat the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. Jay Culter has been ruled out due to the lingering effects of a concussion.

Cutler was knocked out of the Bears’ Nov. 11 game against Houston following a helmet-to-helmet hit from Texans linebacker Tim Dobbins. Dobbins has since been fined $30,000 by the league for the hit.

Filling in for Cutler, Campbell was 11-of-19 for 94 yards.

Rookie defensive end Shea McClellin also suffered a concussion in the loss to Houston. He will not play against San Fransisco.

The Bears are 7-2 on the season.
