Robert Griffin III and Santana Moss both practiced on Monday for Redskins

Both Robert Griffin III and Santana Moss practiced on Monday for the Washington Redskins. Griffin is dealing with sore ribs while Moss is attempting to return from a concussion.

When the Redskins play the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11 they expect RG3 to be under center with Moss acting as one of his targets at the wide receiver position.

Griffin was hit hard in the second quarter of  loss to Carolina in Week 9. Panthers safety Haruki Nakamura delivered the blow to Griffin who was injected with pain killers at half time.

“He’s feeling pretty good,” Shanahan said after the practice, the team’s first on-field activity in a week. “I asked him the same question today and he said he’s feeling pretty good.”

The Redskins have lost their last three games falling to 3-6 on the season.
