Luck continues as Colts win in overtime

Andrew Luck continues to resemble the man he replaced in Indianapolis. The first overall pick in the 2012 draft has become the face of the Colts and that continued on Sunday.

On the first drive of overtime Luck found Vick Ballard for a 16 yard touchdown which gave the Colts a 19-13 win.

The Colts trailed until late in the fourth. A one-yard Delone Carter run tied the score up at 13 to 13 with 3:24 left in the game. Neither team was able to do anything on their final possession of the fourth which forced overtime.

Luck finished the day 26-for-38 with 297 yards though the air including the game winning touchdown in overtime.Reggie Wayne caught seven of those passes for 91 yards while Donald Brown ran for 80 yards.

Filling in for Jake Locker was Matt Hasselbeck. The veteran was 22-for-29 with 236 yards passing and a touchdown. Titans running-back Chris Johnson appears to be working his way back to form as he finished with 99 yards rushing. Johnson’s largest run was for 14 yards.

The tackling of Jerrell Freeman and Jarraud Powers led the way for the Colts on defense.

It was the Colts first trip to Tennessee with Luck as their quarterback. It seemed strangely familiar for the Titans fan base. Indianapolis moved to 4-3 on the season with the win and will host Miami next week. Tennessee is now 3-5 and will host the Chicago Bears in Week 9.
