Tom Brady responds to Seahawks Richard Sherman

The line went viral following Seattles stunning comeback against New England on Sunday. “U Mad Bro?”

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman had words for Tom Brady following the game. Brady was asked about the incident and responded according to Sports Radio Interview’s Brad Gagnon.

“(Sherman’s) a very good player, and I have a lot of respect for that defense and certainly that secondary,” Brady told Jim Gray on Dial Global Sports, via SportsRadioInterviews.com. “They play very well together. My dad taught me at a young age to play with class and respect and give my opponents respect, and certainly I have a lot of respect for the Seahawks.”

But Brady did not stop there. He continued.

“My dad also told me to worry about the things that I can control and certainly not worry about the things that I can’t,” Brady said. “And I really don’t have feelings either way toward what someone may say or think. Really, what’s important is how I feel. We went out and we played a very good team on the road and had an opportunity to win there in the fourth quarter and just didn’t take advantage of it.”

However maybe Brady forgets it was his comments to the Seattle Times that started everything.  “We’re built for a heavyweight fight…I don’t think they’re built for a heavyweight fight.”

Brady’s Patriots are 3-3 and play the New York Jets next. Seattle is now 4-2 and will travel to play the San Fransisco 49ers.
