Richard Sherman, CB for the Seattle Seahawks laid it on thick to QB Tom Brady of the New England Patriots yesterday after their 24-23 victory. The Patriots were winning and blew a 23-10 lead with only nine minutes left in the game.
He told the Seattle Times, “We’re built for a heavyweight fight…I don’t think they’re built for a heavyweight fight.”
Sherman is in his second season after being drafted out of Stanford. He intercepted Brady in the third quarter, while safety Earl Thomas picked Brady off in the fourth quarter.
Sherman took to Twitter and said the following:
“He told me and earl to see him after the game when they win….. I found him after….”
If Sherman continues to play like he did yesterday against the Patriots, then there would be no reason you couldn’t consider him a legitimate candidate for the Pro Bowl this season.
