The Texas Longhorns (2-2) and Iowa State Cyclones (1-2) will meet Thursday night in a match-up of two Big-12 schools.

Things have not been good for the Longhorns this season and head coach Mack Brown may ultimately pay with his job for his inability to bring in a capable quarterback. Last week the Longhorns weathered the storm beating Kansas State after convincing losses to BYU and Ole Miss.

Coverage of the game between the Longhorns and Cyclones will air on ESPN beginning at 7:30 pm ET (6:30 pm CT) from Jack Tice Stadium in Ames, Iowa.

Conventional thinking says that Texas needs a big victory over Iowa in order to get some of the heat off of Brown.

The Odds: The Texas Longhorns are a 7.5 point favorite against the Iowa State Cyclones. The over/under for this game is 55 total points.

Will the Longhorns improve to 3-2 ahead of their rivalry match-up against Oklahoma or will the Cyclones give them another defeat?
