Mississippi State and Florida State both 9-0 were ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in this weeks Amway Coaches Poll of the top 25 teams in the nation. Coming in at No. was Alabama while Oregon was No. 4.
The biggest drop in this poll this week was dealt to Notre Dame who tumbled to No. 16 following a defeat at the hands of Arizona State.
