USC has fired head coach Lane Kiffing following a blowout loss to Arizona State on Saturday night.
Following Saturday’s loss the Trojans have lost seven of their past 11 games and each of their Pac-12 games this season. Kiffin’s overall record in four years at USC was 28-15.
USC athletic director Pat Haden notified Kiffin of the news once the team arrived back to Los Angeles early Sunday morning according to a statement on the schools athletic site.
Haden will hold a news conference at USC on Sunday afternoon, the school said.
