The Dallas Mavericks will be without Gal Mekel indefinitely after the guard underwent surgery on his right knee.
Mekel had surgery for a lateral meniscus tear on Friday. He should miss the next six weeks.

Expect Shane Larkin to get the time Mekel had been getting, Mekel had been playing just over nine minutes per game and had 2.4 PPG, 0.9 RPG and 2.1 APG.
