The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to be without Kobe Bryant for the next six weeks. Bryant has a fracture in his left knee.
Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni expressed disappointment about the news.
“You hate it for Kobe. He’s worked so hard to get back” D’Antoni said.
Injury Update: Kobe Bryant has a fracture of the lateral tibial plateau in his left knee. He is expected to miss 6 weeks.

Xavier Henry will take over the duties at point guard for the Lakers. In Bryant’s six games this season he had averaged 13.8 points per game.
