Coming from the Memphis Grizzles to the Toronto Raptors we expected Rudy Gay to push the team from a losing record to the playoffs this season. But, before evening completing a full-season with the Raptors team Gay has been shipped across the United States to Sacramento to play for the Kings.
The Kings will send Greivis Vasquez, John Salmons, Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes to the Raptors. The Kings will also acquire Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray in the deal, sources said.
Gay will now partner with DeMarcus Cousins in Sacramento which is poised to be a dangerous pair.
The Raptors now will probably focus on starting a rebuilding by getting a lottery pick in this upcoming draft.
