Wizards Upset Nets After A Thriller

The Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets met in a thriller on Friday night. The Nets obviously underestimated the Wizards young talent of Bradley Beal and John Wall.

During a second half run the Wizards came into contention to score their second win on the season. With less then twenty seconds left in the fourth quarter they had cut the Nets lead to just two markers.

The final in bound play came with nine seconds left in regulation and John Wall drove for a layup and failed to make it. Luckily, Nene the Brazilian center tip the ball back into the net to force overtime.

During the overtime Bradley Beal opened it with a major slam over the Nets defender putting the Wizards lead to four markers. The Net’s responded with authority when Deron Williams scored and was fouled.

Deron Williams continued on his roll knocking down a three pointer to put the Nets ahead by one point. Jason Kidd’s Brooklyn squad started to have hiccups when Andray Blatche missed both two free throws.

With less then one minute left in the first overtime Trevor Ariza hit a clutch three pointer giving the Wizards the lead by two. After that the Nets were forced to play the foul game which Washington did perfectly en route to their second victory on the season.
