Vladimir Guerrero was one of baseball’s best power hitters during his prime. Known by nicknames such as “Vlad the Impaler” the slugger had a knack for swinging at anything and finding a way to place it over the outfield wall.
The apple does not fall far from the tree apparently as his son is also quite the slugger.
In a video of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. posted to YouTube the 15-year-old can be seen crushing baseballs. He stands 6-feet-2 and weights in at 220 pounds.
Impressive. Scouts believe that Guerrero could be in the majors as a teenager. His father made his big league debut at 21 and finished his 16-year career with a .318/.379/.553 line to go along with 449 home runs and 1496 RBI.
