The Cincinnati Reds are hoping to have left handed reliever Sean Marshall back for next weekend.
Marshall will head to Louisville this week where he will play in back to back games for the Bats on Tuesday and Wednesday. The expectation is that the Reds would have the 31-year-old back in time for their road trip to Chicago.
One of baseball’s best relief options over the past five seasons, Marshall appeared in just 16 games in the 2013 season.
