Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre (quad) could be headed to the disabled list according to Rangers GM Jon Daniels.
“It’s a tough thing, you see a game like last night and you’re dying to have his bat in there,” Daniels said. “But the last thing you want is for him to grab onto it again and then he’s down for 2-3 months instead of 2-3 weeks.”
The Rangers plan to officially announce a decision on Beltre Sunday or Monday.
The Rangers are also expected to recall pitcher Colby Lewis. He will start Monday’s game against Seattle.
