The Indians have signed relief pitcher Alex Wilson to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.
Wilson, 32, spent the last four seasons with the Tigers posting a 3.20 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP which leaves him having to settle for a minor league deal as a bit of a surprise.
The Indians will pay Wilson $1.25 million should he make the big league roster with another $750,000 available via incentives. The team also added Matt Joyce on a similar deal Friday evening.
