Josh Johnson has resumed his throwing program with an aim of joining the San Diego Padres in June.
Johnson, 31, had his throwing delayed after feeling some tightness in his triceps following a simulated game in late April.

Johnson has not pitched in the majors since a horrible 2013 season. For his career Johnson owns a 58-45 line with a 3.41 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP.
