A failed physical with the Phillies has led to free agent Wandy Rodriguez signing with the Braves.
The Braves will hope that the soon to be 36-year-old Rodriguez is healthy and can compete for the fifth spot in their rotation. Last year the Braves found similar success with another cast off in Aaron Harang.
Rodriguez made just six starts last season while dealing with knee and forearm issues. Prior to 2013, Rodriguez had posted sub-4.00 ERA’s from 2008-2012.
