Johana Santana was recently clocked in the 87-89 mph range and is ready to make his Dominican Winter League debut on Tuesday.
The former All-Star had his comeback attempt derailed last offseason after suffering a torn Achilles but the 35-year-old left-hander is ready to give it another try.
Should Santana prove he has anything to offer in winter ball there should be a few teams who line up to offer him a minor league contract.
