The Dodgers are set to sign free agent Sergio Santos to a minor league deal.
Santos offered little in the form of relief while with the Blue Jays last season. He had a 8.57 ERA and 2.19 WHIP in 26 games while dealing with forearm issues.
A converted infielder, Santos rose to attention with the White Sox in 2010 and racked up 30 saves for them a year later before eing shipped off to the Blue Jays. Though 108 games he has a 3.93 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP.
#Dodgers expected to sign RHP Sergio Santos (ex-Mater Dei SS) to minor league deal. @bnicholsonsmith had Santos near deal w/NL West team.

Former first round pick Chris Parmelee will try his luck outside of the Twins organization.
Parmelee, 26, was designated for assignment earlier this month and has since rejected an assignment to Triple-A. Parmelee hit .256/.307/.384 with seven homers and 28 RBI in 87 games with the Twins in 2014 and stood a reasonable chance to see time with the team next season.
