The Mets are believed to be willing to part with one of their starting pitchers and while Jon Niese and Bartolo Colon would seem like the logical trade choices the team is “aggressively shopping” Dillon Gee reports ESPN New York.

Gee is said to be drawling interest from the Rangers and Royals after posting a 4.00 ERA with a 94/43 K/BB ratio over 137 1/3 innings in 2014 for the Mets.

Gee is under the Mets’ control for two more seasons and is projected to earn roughly $5 million in 2015.

The Mets and Rangers are expected to have talks at the upcoming winter meeting about Gee and others.
