Kansas City Royals starter Danny Duffy has been diagnosed with left rotator cuff inflammation. The Royals are hopeful that the left hander will miss just one start before returning to the mound.
Dunny left Saturday’s outing against New York. On the season he owns a 2.42 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP in 141 1/3 innings of work.

The good news for the Royals here is that Duffy should be able to contribute again prior to the end of the season for the AL Central leaders.
