Jorge Soler will make his major league debut on Wednesday for the Chicago Cubs.

Soler, 22, will man right field and bat fifth against the Cincinnati Reds.

While Soler missed some time with a hamstring injury this year he did not disappoint when in the lineup for Triple-A Iowa posting a .340/.432/.700 line with 15 homers and 57 RBI in 62 games.

Soler expects to take over right field for the rest of the season as the Cubs take a look at him.

One player the Cubs will not have on Wednesday is first baseman Anthony Rizzo. Chris Valaika will play in place of Rizzo who is being given the day off after suffering tightness in his lower back.
