Because they are everywhere now, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander and model girlfriend Kate Upton took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge together.
Verlander posted the following video to his Instagram account on Monday evening.

We will take their word that the water was cold and at some point had ice in it.
Verlander, 31, is just 10-11 with a 4.76 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP though 25 starts this season. A recent MRI showed no structural damage to his shoulder after he left his Aug. 11 start with soreness. Thus far the Tigers have not placed him on the disabled list.
