New York Yankees starting pitcher Masahiro Tanaka feels good following 50 throws on Tuesday.
On Monday the 25-year-old Tanaka played catch for the first time since being shut down with a partially-torn ulnar collateral ligament. On Tuesday he threw 50 pitches.
There are still a few steps before Tanaka is ready to return to game action. He is also not out of the woods as far as Tommy John surgery is concerned.
Tanaka made 50 throws today at higher intensity than monday, still felt good. Progress continues.
