Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has been out of action since July 20. Placed on the disabled list it is currently unclear when Tulowitzki will return to the field.
On Saturday the All-Star visited a sports hernia surgeon in Philadelphia about his strained left hip flexor.

Prior to going down Tulowitzki was hitting.340/.432/.603 with 21 home runs and 52 RBI on the season for the Rockies.
