The Detroit Tigers continue to look for pieces to add to their bullpen.
Already connected to Joaquin Benoit, Brad Ziegler, Antonio Bastardo and Joakim Soria the Tigers are also keeping an eye on Philadelphia Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon.
Tigers showing interest in Phillies LHP Bastardo, sources tell @Ken_Rosenthal and me. Keeping tabs on all relievers — including Papelbon.

The 33-year-old Papelbon has a 1.17 ERA and a 0.83 WHIP though 39 games while notching 23 saves for the Phillies. He has already said he would be willing to waive his no trade clause if necessary.
Another team with interest in Papelbon is the Los Angeles Dodgers.
