Well this is a first, we think.
Andy Milovich, the general manager of the Single-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans, says he will have a prostate exam while singing “Take Me Out to The Ball Game” if a 10-year-old girl can get 10,000 likes on her Facebook page prior to the game.
That Facebook page belongs to Fallon Emery who has been fighting brain cancer for the last seven months. She currently has over 8,200 likes.
“If what we do saves a kid from having to lose his or her father because they get checked out, this will be worth it,” Milovich said via ESPN.
The team is also planning to hand out foam fingers and is raising money for Emery on Aug. 2 with an auction of sports memorabilia.
