Fernando Rodney added to AL All-Star Game roster


Seattle Mariners closer Fernando Rodney has been added to the roster of the American League for the All-Star Game.

Rodney, 31, leads the league with 27 saves and owns a 1.98 ERA on the season.

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price is opting out of the game since he will be pitching in Sunday’s game.

Over the last three seasons Rodney has 112 saves.
