Astros calling up Domingo Santana

The Houston Astros are again making roster changes with infielder Enrique Hernandez, reliever Kevin Chapman and outfielder Domingo Santana all ticketed for the big leagues.

Of course the big name here is that of 21-year-old Santana who was acquired in 2011 as part of the Hunter Pence trade with Philadelphia.

While he is prone to strike out, Santana has been performing well at Triple-A Oklahoma City where he holds a .304/.383/.502 line with 13 home runs and 52 RBI over 84 games.

Jerome Williams was designated for assignment late Monday while Jonathan Villar has been sent to Oklahoma City.
