On Monday Clay Buchholz issued eight walks in three innings of work but avoided being saddled with a loss.
Whether or not Buchholz makes his next start remains to be seen however as Red Sox manager John Farrell did not shed any light on the teams plans for the right hander going forward.

Though 10 starts this season Buchholz has a 7.02 ERA and a 1.98 WHIP. The Red Sox will talk things over before deciding whether or not he will get around start. Should the Red Sox pull the plug on Buchholz the team could turn to Allen Webster or Robby De La Rosa.
