Gee figures to be at-least another week or two away from contributing in any fashion. Prior to landing on the DL with a lat injury Gee had made eight starts going 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.
Sandy Alderson says Dillon Gee was uncomfortable throwing bullpen. So clearly not coming back from lat injury.

The Mets will will have to keep going with Jacob deGrom and Rafael Montero at the back end of their rotation for the time being.
