The St. Louis Cardinals have recalled second baseman Kolten Wong from Triple-A Memphis.

Last month the Cardinals sent Wong down to Triple-A after he compiled a brutal .225/.276/.268 line in 20 games.

While at Memphis Wong appeared in 15 games hitting .344/.382/.484 with two homers, 10 RBI and five stolen bases. With his replacement, Mark Ellis, struggling the Cardinals are going to see if Wong can stick this time.

The Cardinals figure to play Wong regularly going forward.
