Former NBA star Tracy McGrady allows two runs in pro baseball debut

Tracy McGrady made his pro baseball debut on Saturday. A seven-time NBA All-Star who has two scoring titles, McGrady is now pitching for the Sugar Land Skeeters of the Atlantic League.

In 1 2/3 innings of work the 34-year-old McGrady allowed two hits and two runs while throwing 18 of 35 pitche for strikes.

After allowing a single in the first inning former major leaguer Edwin Maysonet hit a solo homer off of him with one out in the second.

McGrady previously played baseball during his high school years.
