The Cincinnati Reds have aced catcher Devin Mesoraco on the 15-day disabled list.
Mesoraco injured his left hamstring while rounding the bases in Friday’s contest at Atlanta.
It is expected that Mesoraco will be ready to go once his DL stint is up. The Reds recalled Tucker Barnhart to take his roster spot.
The 25-year-old Mesoraco was hitting .468/.509/.787 in 53 plate appearances.
