Entering Wednesday nights game Paul Konerko was hitting a mere .105 in his final big league season.
Against the Detroit Tigers the 38-year-old Konerko made his fourth start of the season and produced a 3-for-4 line which included a double and a run scored.
Konerko had a good night on Wednesday but it is hard to believe that will lead directly to additional playing time with both Jose Abreu and Adam Dunn playing well so far.
