Outfielder Denard Span has been activated from the seven day disabled list by the Washington Nationals.
Span, 30, landed on the DL after he collided with Atlanta Braves second baseman Dan Uggla. During the play Uggla was ruled to have impeded Span’s path.
In 10 games this season Span is hitting .222/.300/.361 with four RBI.
