The Miami Marlins are seeking a long-term option at second base and have pitching depth to get it done.

One player the Marlins have made available in trade talks is right hander Jacob Turner. The former first-round pick in 2009 had a 3.74 ERA in 118 innings of work last season.

Turner, 22, was acquired in a trade with the Detroit Tigers in 2012 for Omar Infante and pitcher Anibal Sanchez.
