Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus is not worried about tightness in his right elbow.
Andrus, 25, believes the tightness in his right elbow has been over-reported.
“I feel good,” Andrus, via the Dallas Morning News. “There was a little tightness there, but there is nothing to worry about. I’m good.”
The Rangers scratched him from Tuesday’s night game against the Chicago Cubs.
Andrus appeared in 156 games last season hitting .271/.328/.331 with four home runs, 91 runs scores, and 67 RBI while stealing 42 bases last season for the Rangers.
He is expected to miss the next couple days.
