The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed left handed relief pitcher Oliver Perez to a two-year deal.
Perez, 32, will receive $4.5 million over the course of the deal. He figures to occupy a spot a spot as one of the left handed options out of the bullpen for the Diamondbacks.
Last season Perez pitched for the Seattle Mariners posting a 3.16 ERA and 98 strike outs over 82 2/3 innings of work.
