Free agent pitcher Ervin Santana has lowered his contract expectations to one-year offers. Now the right hander is said to be debating offers from the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays.

Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that Santana is choosing between the two offers.

The Blue Jays have offered a one-year, $14 million deal, while the Orioles have a one-year offer worth $13 million plus incentives.

Santana, 31, is hoping to sign a deal as soon as possible. He currently is tied to draft pick compensation.

Last season Santana made 32 starts posing a 3.24 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP in 211 innings of work for the Kansas City Royals.
