Washington Nationals pitcher Ross Ohlendorf left Thursday’s game with back spasms.
According to Nationals manager Matt Williams, the situation began at the beginning of the game. Ohlendorf is being considered an option as a long reliever.
Ross Ohlendorf had lower back spasms that started when facing the first batter, per Matt Williams. He'll be reevaluated in the morning.

Ohlendorf had been dealing with tightness in his side to start the spring.
Ohlendorf made 16 appearances last season, seven of which were starts. He finished with a 3.28 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. He could see starts this season should an injury arise.
