While Boone Logan has not pitched this spring, he’s still expecting to be ready for Opening Day.

Logan, 29, received a three-year deal worth $16.5 from the Colorado Rockies this offseason but has yet to toss even a bullpen this spring.

“I’m just long tossing right now,” Logan said, via the Denver Post. “I hope to throw a bullpen early next week.”

Logan is still expecting to be ready for Opening Day after surgery to remove bone chips and a bone spur from his elbow in October.
